KARACHI: In a shocking incident, a woman gave birth to a baby on the roadside near Karachi’s National Stadium, ARY News reported.

According to the rescue officials, after giving birth, the woman lost consciousness.

The police officials nearby promptly responded to the situation and transferred the woman to the nearby hospital for immediate medical assistance.

The hospital administration reported that the woman’s condition is now stable, and the newborn is in good health, averting any imminent danger.

Earlier to this, a woman gave birth to a baby on the premises of a hospital after the staff at the health facility allegedly refused to treat her.

According to the details, the woman delivered a baby on the premises of Chelhar hospital after allegedly being denied entry by the hospital staff.

Meanwhile, Tharparkar deputy commissioner formed a committee headed by District Health Office Dr Gordhan Das to probe the matter. He directed the committee to submit its investigation report as soon as possible.

PM Shehbaz forms National Economic Council

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif formed the National Economic Council (NEC) with himself as the chairman and chief ministers of four provinces as members, ARY News reported. According to a notification issued here, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzaib, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, and Planning and Development Minister Ashan Iqbal have also been notified as members of the NEC. Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz, Sindh CM Syed Murad Ali Shah, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Ali Amin Gandapur, and Balochistan CM Sarfaraz Bugti have also been notified as members. RAWALPINDI: An accountability court on Friday failed to testify witnesses when Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, expressed distrust on the judge hearing £190 million National Crime Agency (NCA) settlement reference, ARY News reported. At the outset of the hearing conducted at Adiala Jail, the former first lady came to the rostrum and expressed distrust in the accountability court’s judge. She stated that the previous hearing was held without her knowledge, and she was not informed about the postponement of the case.
